Hello

Hello again,
Well we are busy getting ready for school.

A childhood friend of mine is coming tomorrow with her 2 kiddos(2 & 6 months) and they are going to come to church with us.  She has been putting God off for a long time and well her sister has been kind of pushy about it and has made her not want to go near a church.  So I was surprised when she was still coming to visit this weekend and I said well I get out of church around noon so you can come then unless you want to come to church, she said yes!!!  So keep her in your prayers.  She is struggling being a single mom and I don’t blame her!  If Jace and Kara were 2 yrs apart I think I would have a way harder time than I have.

Ok so I am off to do some Fundmentals of Media assignments!

Oh how I am ready for slooow.

Oh I am so ready for things to slow down.

Kara starts school on the 2nd and Jace on the 8th.  I am ready to have a schedule again as well.
So Jace starts preschool and will go 3 hrs a day for 3 days a week.  My little baby boy starting school!!! AWW!
My little baby girl is starting 4th grade and is a month away from double digits! Yeah my firstborn is turning 10!!!!

I am still doing school, finishing up one session tomorrow and starting a new one Thursday.  Web Design & Interactive Media classes start then.  I was in generals because of the switch I made this last session.

What else? Oh my Stampin’ Up! business is going good.  Online ordering is coming soon so if you want to order anything just email me!

Weight:  Oh it’s always a struggle.  I can never stay on a program for long and then I gain more weight which is where I am right now.  I just signed up for the Biggest Loser competition in our town that starts 9/22 and ends 11/17.  It’s a big commitment but I did it and paid my fee.  Ready to be thin.  My feet are sore all the time, I can’t get up as fast as I used to, and I want to where my smaller clothes again.  So if anyone is working the same thing and wants an email buddy. Email me! :)

Ok I have a paper to write so gotta run but Ia m working on updating ALOT more now that Fall is coming.

I am here

Hi,

I am alive. With school ending for Kara it put us into the whirlwind of her summer sport activities.  On top of that I have school and my SU business.  Kara is done with her activities for the summer though!  School is not done, unfortunately I only get almost 4wks off for summer and they did that in June.  I switched my majors from  Interior Design to Web Design & Interactive Media.  Still 3 more years of school to go through as I am in the Bachelors program.  Right now I am working on 2 wks worth of assignments as I am leaving for Salt Lake City for a Stampin’ Up! Convention at the end of the month.   Which means I am still trying to produce 100 + swaps to take as well as get this homework done for 2 wks.

I wold love to say it will slow down and I can get back here more but Ia m starting to think not.  I am in for 3 more years of hardcore nothing but school and my kids activities kind of a life so I will post periodically to update anyone who still drops by but cannot promise anything other than that as of right now.

Have a great day! I have homework to get at. :/

Anyone seen Alicia?

Hello there!!!

Oh my I have been busy.  Kara is done with school next week Wednesday and she has a lot of end of the school year things going on.  She also started track on Tuesday.  It was canceled last night due to a rain storm but she is loving it so far.  I see this being a good confidence builder as she loves to see her own progress in speed and running more efficiently.   Jace has been his usual 3 year old self.  He has added destroying his toys to a list of not so good things he seems to be doing lately.  It is very frustrating because he does not understand if he wrecks it , it is no more.  It gets thrown and no replacement.  I am hoping by Fall he is understanding certain things better.  He understands a lot just not everything that a lot of other kids his age are.  He is talking a lot better now as well.  He finished his last day of school last Friday.  He will start again this Fall and be going 7 hrs a week versus the 1 hour 45 minutes he did this week.  He will have a helper with him in his preschool class to help him adapt to the surroundings and activities.  Because he is so visual they use picture cards to let him know its time to change stations or activities without him throwing a tantrum because he doesn’t understand why he is having to stop playing and then sit.  So we will see come Fall what happens there.

I started volleyball last week as well.  The guy who does the schedule and set up is slacking big time in this area each year.  They got new owners a couple years ago and the restaurant/bar where we play and well the guy plays 3 nights a week and likes to change the rules on you when you play against them and happen to be winning against them. Anyway I am going to see if there is anyway to get someone else in charge of the scheduling and sign ups because he has a hard time saying no which in turn has put the nights like this…

Tuesday: 10 teams      Wednesday: 7 teams     Thursday(night I play): 16 teams
I asked him why he doesn’t put up a sheet that has a certain amount of teams allowed each night and if they are filled and someone wants in on that night they would have to be put on a list where if someone switched or left they could get in otherwise it is first come first serve.  He tells me” Well it’s not my fault everyone wants Thursdays”.  Ugh! I wanted to give him the V8 slap!  Hello you know the night is popular and if there are 12 teams you say NO it’s full.  We play Thursdays because it is what works with all of our schedules and I don’t feel like I should have to move my team to a different night with less teams just because he cannot say No.  Ok I am venting sorry. Anyhow I seriously am thinking about volunteering for the position myself!  Seriously you have 1 whole month to sign up before we start playing so there should be no reason that if you want in on a popular night you would hurry up and get your butt in there and get on that nights roster, if not well to bad go to a different night.  That’s how I see it if my team was not able to get in on the roster. Bah! Whatever!

Alright Clutter Free challenge: I have still been doing this although I do not have 17 things for the last 17 days I missed blogging.  I will get that updated to 17 and get all caught up and then post my list.

What else is going on? Oh yeah I have Planters Fasciitis which is wonderful(sarcastic here).  So I have supports for my shoes now and went and bought a new pair of walking/running shoes which are awesome!  My feet are less sore in these and comfy.

They are cute too!

Alright I have a big assignment to do so gotta run!

Helloooo…

Hello out there.  I figured it’s time to post a couple pictures.
Jace has become fascinated with cooking.  So I got him a play kitchen a few weeks back, it took awhile to find a non girly one!.  It also took forever to put the darn thing together.  You have to cut all the plastic pieces off the sheets they come connected to, pain in butt!  BUT it was worth it to see his face when it was all done and ready to play with.

Now onto my daughter, who thinks she is old enough to mow the lawn.  Umm well yeah not so sure, I mean she is only 9!  Well the snow melted(and didn’t come back yay!), and John came over to help put up a new net on the trampoline and pulled out the rider.  Yep I thought he was giving Jace a ride on it and looked out the window to see this……

WHAT?!  Then she waved! lol  I took the picture and then told her to get her hand on the wheel!  She was going like 2mph so not like she was going very fast! lol  Although she does need another inch to comfortably use the break.  She thinks she is mowing the yard this year but I told her next summer when she has hit double digits in age! lol  That happens in September so I am sure I will hear the request then since we will have a couple more mowing sessions left for the year.

My plan for her and I this summer is to teach her to coo, and maybe cook more myself then!  We are also going to be doing Power 90(beachbody fitness dvds) together to build up muscles in us and get us fit and trim.  She doesn’t really need it but wants to build her muscles and the program is not to hard that she couldn’t do it too.

Alright one more thing…..

35. Recycling old magazines I do not need

GOD BLESS all of you today!
